Andrea Davis, B.A. - Program Manager, Publishing Services
Andrea Davis is the Program Manager of Publishing Services for The Catalyst Group, LLC and she also currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Command’s Asia-Pacific Defense FORUM quarterly magazine. The magazine focuses on combined military exercises, conferences, exchanges, and humanitarian projects with the militaries of U.S. allies, friends, and partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
Ms. Davis has over 30 years experience in writing and editing. She began her career with the Central Intelligence Agency following graduation from the University of Rhode Island where she majored in political science. After serving 11 years with the CIA, Ms. Davis moved to Hawaii and began working at the U.S. Pacific Command’s Intelligence Center Pacific as the energy and economics analyst and later as the Deputy Director of Analysis. In the early 1990s, Ms. Davis joined the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific, serving as its customer representative to Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Command; the U.S. Sub-Unified Commands in Japan and Korea; U.S. national intelligence agencies; and U.S. allies in the Asia-Pacific region. Ms. Davis joined the Asia-Pacific Defense FORUM staff as assistance editor following her retirement from government service in 2000. She assumed the position of Editor in Chief in October 2004. |
