David Jackson, M.A. - Program Manager, Research and Program Evaluation Services

Mr. Jackson has a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. He is presently seeking a Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration in community and culture, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution. His specific professional interests include organizational behavior, leadership, and culture.

Having been with The Catalyst Group, LLC for about five years, Mr. Jackson currently oversees program evaluation and other research projects, with primary activities including data collection, data management, analysis, training, group facilitation, writing reports, articles, and proposals, as well as organizational development. He also trains and supervises research assistants and interns. Mr. Jackson has a broad range of experiences in social services, education, and research, working in the areas of adolescent residential programming, services and shelter for homeless populations, legislation, and program evaluation. Mr. Jackson has also taught university undergraduate courses in statistics and tutored youth and adults.

Mr. Jackson is a student member of the American Psychological Association, its Division 27 – The Society for Community Research and Action, and the Hawaii Pacific Evaluation Association. His publications have been in the areas of rural health capacity building, disabilities, legislation, and peace.
